In 21 competitive games, Andreas Heraf (54) sat as head coach on the SV Ried supervisor’s bench, with great success. Under his direction, the Rieder won nine games and eight draws. The Innviertel team only left the field as a loser four times. Last season, Heraf managed to stay in the league with SV Ried in the lower playoff. Most recently, Heraf was absent due to illness.
“After the break due to illness, both sides – both Andreas Heraf and we – discovered in conversations that there are different views on the direction in which the club should move. That is why we have now mutually agreed not to continue working together. Andreas Heraf has done a lot for SV Ried. For this I would like to thank him warmly on behalf of the entire association. We wish him the very best for his future, ”explains SVR Managing Director Rainer Wöllinger. “For the time being, Christian Heinle will remain the interim head coach until we have appointed a new head coach.”
“I would like to thank SV Guntamatic Ried for a wonderful and incredibly successful time. The return to the Bundesliga and the sovereign relegation last season will stay in my memory forever, ”says Heraf.
