Dortmund Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose wants to talk to his defender Marin Pongracic about his clear statements about VfL Wolfsburg.
“I haven’t seen Marin yet,” said Rose. “I actually noticed that and of course I will point out that silence is sometimes gold.” Pongracic is currently on loan from VfL Wolfsburg to BVB and was unusually open about his move in the summer in a Twitch conversation with artist SSYNIC spoken. He had criticized the now released Wolfsburg head coach Mark van Bommel in front of everyone.
While Pongracic is likely to be in the squad in BVB’s away game on Saturday at RB Leipzig (6.30 p.m. / Sky), Rose will continue to have to do without all of the top performers who have recently been injured. “We have an international break after that, and we are already hoping that a few guys will come back afterwards,” said Rose on Friday and confirmed: “The Leipzig game will have to take place without these players.”
Other top scorers Erling Haaland, Raphael Guerreiro and Giovanni Reyna are out of second place in the Bundesliga. In addition, full-back Marius Wolf was injured in the bitter 1: 3 in the Champions League against Ajax Amsterdam.
“The situation is not easy, but we accept it, and I think that’s the most important factor,” said Rose. “The boys have moved closer together.”
