Athens Eintracht Frankfurt’s head coach Oliver Glasner feels the full trust in the environment of the traditional Hessian club despite the unsuccessful start to the season.
“It is important for me and the coaching team to feel the support from Markus (Krösche) – but also from the entire board. That’s why I’m also very relaxed, ”said the Austrian on Friday morning at the press conference in the team hotel in Athens. Eintracht had won 2-1 at Olympiacos, confirming their strong performances in the Europa League.
In the Bundesliga, however, only one out of ten games was won. “It was not pleasant after these performances, with which I was not at all satisfied,” said Glasner before the game against bottom of the table Greuther Fürth on Sunday evening (7.30pm / DAZN). But he is happy “that we have such strong personalities on our board”.
