Manchester United took on Serie A’s Atalanta in a Champions League match on Tuesday.

It seemed like it was going to be another night to forget about Manchester United when they were delayed not once, but twice in the day.

That was, however, until Cristiano Ronaldo once again stepped forward to save Man United.

The Portuguese had already scored winning goals for the Red Devils vs Villarreal and in the other meeting with Atalanta last month.

And while he failed to secure a win on Tuesday, the point he saved was huge for United.

What the Atalanta coach told Cristiano Ronaldo

The result leaves Man United at the top of Group F and with Atalanta down at 3rd place you need to win the remaining two draws to ensure you make it to the knockout rounds.

Following Tuesday’s game, Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini revealed what he told Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese completed United’s comeback:

“At the end of the game I spoke with Ronaldo, he is an incredible player, some even call him a problem. It is a good problem to have, 9 out of 10 times his shots on goal, 5 of them are goals. I said: do you know what we say in Italy? Go to hell”

Although it could perhaps be perceived as angry comments, it was also noted that Gasperini said this jokingly:
