Craig Hignett makes Jude Bellingham claim Liverpool fans should love

'Almost a certificate': Craig Hignett makes Jude Bellingham claim Liverpool fans should love

Former footballer Craig Hignett has made a huge transfer claim regarding Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham and Liverpool.

Jude Bellingham’s season in Liverpool

Jude Bellingham would join Borussia Dortmund in July 2020.

The young midfielder has previously shone in the Championship with Birmingham, but despite his limited experience, the now 18-year-old became an instant hit in Germany.

So far, Bellingham had already made an impressive 62 appearances for Dortmund, in which he has scored seven goals and provided 10 assists.

The teenager has also impressed on the bigger stage, including putting on some excellent displays against Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals last season.

And while he’s not a guaranteed starter yet, Bellingham has already started to show how valuable he will be to England or the next decade and beyond.

From Bellingham to Liverpool?

So with Dortmund well known for being a sales club, it is safe to assume that they will part ways with Bellingham in the next few years.

Whoever ends up with Bellingham will undoubtedly become a serious player. And, according to former Premier League star Craig Hignett, that club might as well be Liverpool.

Talking to BBC Radio Merseyside Hignett recently stated that he has it in good faith that Bellingham has been saying he’s bound for Liverpool, before adding that a move is almost certain:

“I think I have heard him in good authority and I cannot say where I have heard him from, but apparently he has been saying that he is heading to Liverpool.

“If that’s January or if it’s the end of the season, I’m not sure yet, but I think I’m sure it’s almost a certificate.”
