Top picks of captains for GW8

A key part of playing Fantasy Premier League is choosing your captain for each week of play.

The player who selects from his starting eleven as his captain will see his point total doubled from that round of matches. And if you’re not involved in any way, your vice-captain for the week will have his normal point total doubled.

Such an increase in points can often make or break your playing week and see you move up or down the FPL ranks a bit.

Therefore, choosing the best captain each week is a decision that you need to think a lot about. And in 101, we are here to help, choosing the top three captains options each week.

Here are our picks for week 8.

Mohamed Salah, Liverpool (12.7)

Another week, another great opportunity for Captain Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian appears to be one of the few players at FPL who is match-proof.

Even against Manchester City and Chelsea this season, Salah has still scored two goals and provided an assist.

So when Liverpool take on a struggling Watford this week, it would make sense for Captain Salah. Of course, Watford can experience the rebound from the new coach when Claudio Ranieri takes over his first game for the Hornets. But again, it’s Salah, and he’s already proven this season that you didn’t choose him at your own risk.

Jack Grealish, Manchester City (7.9)

This next election is somewhat risky given Pep Guardiola’s predisposition to make seven changes to his team in each game.

But given Manchester City’s excellent record against Burnley, it may be a mistake not to pick / cap any of their players.

The Clarets have not defeated Man City in any competition since March 2015. Since then, Man City has won 12 and drawn one against Burnley.

It is also worth noting that in the last five meetings between the two sides, the Sky Blues have won by an aggregate score of 19-1.

So with Jack Grealish seemingly one of the most successful attacking players in City today, he’s probably your best pick.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United (12.6)

Finally, the last captain option you might want to consider is Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese was benched against Everton last week, and given the reaction Ole Gunnar Solskjaer received from that, it’s safe to assume it won’t happen two weeks in a row.

And while Leicester looks like a tough draw on paper, it’s worth remembering that the Foxes have had a terrible start to the season and haven’t kept a clean sheet at PL since opening weekend when they faced the Wolves back then. shy.
