Chelsea’s Broja achieves impressive solo winner against Hungary

Watch Chelsea's Armando Broja once again demonstrate his extraordinary talents with an impressive winner against Hungary

Chelsea loaned forward Armando Broja continued to turn heads tonight, thanks to a wonderful solo goal during Albania’s meeting with Hungary.

Who is Broja?

Broja, 20, has been in the West London books for a full 12 years.

The 6-foot-3 talent had previously spent time lining up for capital rivals Tottenham, but ultimately opted to bring his talent to Chelsea in 2009.

And the Blues’ decision to break up with Broja has proven to be an inspiration.

The Slough native has established himself as one of the most respected young men at Stamford Bridge, and his exploits at the youth level have finally resulted in Broja being rewarded with his first professional contract last February.

Then, just a month later, the talented leader received his senior debut at the hands of Frank Lampard, at the end of a 4-0 Premier League victory over Everton.

Meanwhile, after an impressive loan spell in the Eredivisie last season, in which he racked up ten goals and two assists, Broja was temporarily eliminated once again last summer, this time for Southampton.

Hungary shot down

However, as described above, on Saturday night the talented youngster proved once again why those familiar with his talents see Broja as a true first-choice forward at Stamford Bridge in the near future.

Blues talent returned to the international stage for Albania, in a World Cup qualifying showdown with Hungary.

The clash marked an absolutely crucial one amid Albania’s hopes of booking a spot in Qatar’s top competition next year, with Poland (who beat San Marino by five goals to nil tonight) breathing down their necks at the Group I table.

However, when all was said and done at the Ferenc Puskas stadium, the visitors held their ground to finally emerge on the right side from a 1-0 scoreline.

And that man, Broja, turned out to be the winner of the match.

After holding on to the ball on the right wing, the promising Chelsea striker beat his opposing defender not once, not twice, but three notable times, before scoring the far corner of the Hungarian net with a daisy cutter.
