Luke Shaw explains that Cristiano Ronaldo has improved to Man United since his arrival

Luke Shaw has recently been discussing the impact Cristiano Ronaldo has had since his second arrival at Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s season at Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo would, of course, rejoin Manchester United during the summer transfer window.

Despite being 36 years old, Ronaldo has instantly become a regular at Old Trafford, starting every match since he returned except for a League Cup loss to West Ham.

In the five heats he’s started in, Ronaldo has been as prolific as ever. The Portuguese marked his return to England with a double in Man United’s 4-1 win over Newcastle.

He would also score a key goal against West Ham in the Premier League as the Red Devils came 1-0 down to win 2-1.

In the Champions League, meanwhile, Ronaldo scored United’s only goal in their loss to Young Boys, then scored the winning goal against Villarreal.

Luke Shaw on Ronaldo

Ronaldo’s latest outing saw him come off the bench for the final 33 minutes as United drew 1-1 at Everton.

Despite a couple of initial setbacks for Man United this season, Luke Shaw has been quite positive regarding Ronaldo’s second arrival at the club.

Speaking recently, Shaw was discussing life with Ronaldo in the Man United dressing room, with the left-back explaining that the CR7 mentality is second to none, and it is the mentality that Ronaldo has really improved in and around the Man United dressing room:

“You know what a star he is, what he’s been doing for several years.

“It’s amazing to be in a dressing room with him.

“You see the way he carries himself, how professional he is. It is clear to me why he has been at the top for so many years.

“His mentality is second to none. I think it has really improved that in and around the locker room. “
