'They've found their level': Trio of Tottenham stars criticized by fans despite Mura's comfortable win

The Tottenham Hotspur faithful have flooded Twitter tonight, to make their feelings about a trio of stars who have started the club’s meeting with NS Mura very clear.

Kane on the treble

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men recently resumed their European campaign.

After falling to a third consecutive defeat in the Premier League, at the hands of none other than Arsenal last weekend, Spurs welcomed Slovenian side Mura to North London, seeking a return to victory. that raises morale.

And, when the 90 minutes were said and done, this is precisely what the Lilywhites accomplished.

A dominant display eventually culminated in a final score of 5-1, as Tottenham made clear, despite their recent struggles, that they must be viewed as one of the favorites to clinch the first Europa Conference League title.

Dele Alli put the hosts on their way to the penalty spot early on, before Giovani Lo Celso put Nuno’s men on their way to three points with a second in the first ten minutes.

And while Ziga Kous did his best to give those inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a scare courtesy of an astonishing consolation from Mura, Harry Kane quickly went on to steal the show.

Introduced from the bench at the hour mark, the Spurs talisman notably scored a hat-trick, to add some sparkle to the final score in the capital.

‘He found his level’

However, as described above, despite the fact that his team has stabilized the ship at least to some extent, the club’s supporters have not been shy about launching criticism Thursday night.

On social media, the Spurs faithful have widely singled out a trio of players, in the form of Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Matt Doherty, as simply not good enough to get regular playing time going forward.

The often maligned trio again fought for much of the action against Mura, a fact that, when taking into account the opposition’s standard, sparked a series of reactions online.
