Supporters of both Manchester United and Chelsea have taken to social media in their numbers tonight to call for the addition of prominent West Ham United’s Declan Rice.
Rice on the white
Of course, Rice is currently in action on the continent.
After notching two rebound victories courtesy of a 2-1 takedown of Leeds United at the weekend, the Irons tonight turned their attention to business in Europe.
David Moyes’ men welcomed Austria’s Rapid Wien to the London Stadium, aiming to score two wins out of two to open their Europa League campaign.
And as it stands, the highs are exactly what West Ham is heading for.
The capital team leads Rapid by a goal to zero, courtesy of the last forceful contribution of the aforementioned Rice.
After entering the visitor’s area from deep down, the Hammers midfield star was rewarded by Michail Antonio, who left him on a plate for Rice to land with his left foot, sparking joyous celebrations at the London stadium. :
That’s a brilliant West Ham team goal! 🙌
Declan Rice scores again in the Europa League, but it’s about Michail Antonio’s control and pass … 🤤

‘Bring it home’
However, the West Ham general’s latest efforts in the middle of the park have caught the attention of much more than just the Irons-worshiping fan base Thursday night.
As described above, fans of both Manchester United and Chelsea have also taken to social media in droves to plead with their respective teams to target the English international before the next January window.
United’s highlights can be found below:
Dear Ole, sign with Rice. That is all. @Man Utd

Man we NEED Rice Declan! He has done more runs into the penalty area from deep than McFred in his entire career! Pogba got it right yesterday and I think Donny could do it with time but still SIGN RICE

Imagine goals from midfield if we have a Pogba, Rice Bruno mid

Ole said he chooses McTominay and Fred because they have “energy, passion and desire”, not to mention their skills / traits as real players.
Well take a look at someone like Declan Rice, he has all of that, and he can really play like a defensive midfielder! who knows

Meanwhile, just a few of the many Rice to Chelsea calls are showcased here:
You know what I think is crazy, how people talked shit about Rice, that he’s not good enough, he’s not what we need, blah blah blah.
Rice is exactly what we need
– CFCSyed (@AbbAreef) September 30, 2021
I said it once, I’ll say it again. I need rice from Declan in Chelsea.
– Caleb Lloyd ⭐⭐ (@ caleblloyd98) September 30, 2021
Declan Rice for £ 80 million is a no-brainer. Put at least 7/10 performance in each match. Club captain. The media talk a lot about him. Hated by rivals. Love Chelsea.
I really don’t know what else you want!

Another target for Declan Rice from the engine room … this man can do it all. 😍 No, seriously, I don’t even say this to piss people off, this boy is an outstanding player !! Please bring him home for the rest of his career 💙.
