Yves Bissouma was forced out of Bighton vs Crystal Palace due to knee injury

Why Yves Bissouma is absent from Brighton meeting with Crystal Palace

Brighton & Hove Albion star Yves Bissouma will not be participating in the club meeting with Crystal Palace on Monday night.

Seagulls flying

Graham Potter’s men are ready to be back in action in less than an hour.

After continuing their strong start to the season thanks to a 2-0 takedown of Swansea City in the EFL Cup last week, the Seagulls have traveled to Selhurst Park, to face Crystal Palace, in the latest edition of the M23 Derby.

The clash marks a return to Premier League affairs, with Brighton currently sitting on the dizzying heights of fourth place. Not only that, but surprisingly, after Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool all lost points this weekend, the Sailors are aware that a victory of their own on Monday would clearly guide them to the top of the division.

This comes with Graham Potter’s men who have accumulated 12 points, courtesy of four wins out of five so far.

In turn, the club boss was undoubtedly desperate to have as many of his key players as possible fit in and available to perform at Selhurst.

So it was certainly a blow to everyone associated with the club when, following the unveiling of the last Brighton XI a short time ago, star midfielder Yves Bissouma was nowhere in sight:

For those unaware, the Malian has been struggling with a knee injury over the course of the past week, and the problem has proven to be severe enough to rule him out of the final match of the week of Premier League matches. :
