The four players on Manchester United’s ‘contract list’

Man United’s ‘contract list’

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has named four players who are on Manchester United’s ‘contract list’.

These players are said to be Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, and Jesse Lingard:

Pogba’s inclusion, of course, makes sense, as he currently has no contract next summer.

Meanwhile, Shaw and Fernandes have been some of United’s best players over the past year and a little bit, so rewarding them with new deals makes a lot of sense.

Lingard’s situation at Man United

The inclusion of Jesse Lingard, however, seems somewhat odd, as he is clearly just a fringe star at Man United.

Lingard came in and scored the winning goal for Man United vs West Ham on Sunday and Solskjaer was full of to congratulate for him after the game:

“He said he was sorry after Tuesday and everyone said it wasn’t necessary. The wine [today] and it was brilliant.

“It was a great goal. I am so happy for Jesse. Of course, he had a rough night on Tuesday, but he’s bad and he’s back to hard work.

“He was the same bright and positive kid, and what a goal. Very happy for him. It was a great pass from Nemanja [Matic] and a good performance from Jesse. “

However, Lingard has yet to start a game this period and once Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani return to the side, I would assume that the role of the Englishman will be further reduced as Solskjaer will not leave out a promising talent like Greenwood or Big . -Signing money, Jadon Sancho, so much.

Of course, United may want Lingard to agree to the terms of the news so they don’t lose it for free next year. But from a player’s perspective, it seems his best bet is to close his contract with Man United and sign for someone for free who will use him regularly.
