Arsenal fans target Burnley with self-deprecating chants on Turf Moor

'How the hell must you be?' - Arsenal fans target Burnley with self-deprecating chants

The Arsenal contingent who attended the club’s meeting with Burnley this afternoon were eager to turn their team’s recent lousy form on the road into ammunition against Sean Dyche’s Clarets.

Odegaard on target

The gunners are currently in action on Turf Moor.

Mikel Arteta’s men headed into proceedings wanting to seize a crucial first win of the season last time, when they emerged from the right side of a 1-0 scoreline in a clash with teammates Norwich City at the Emirates.

And as it stands, a second win in two is precisely what Arsenal are heading for.

The visitors currently lead Burnley by a scoreless goal, courtesy of a moment of magic at the half-hour mark.

After the Gunners got a free kick on the edge of the area, summer addition Martin Odegaard stepped up to lead a surprising effort past desperate Nick Pope, making the difference between the sides in Lancashire today:

We are wining!

As described above, if Arsenal manage to hold all three points this afternoon, it would mark just the North Londoners’ second Premier League win of the campaign.

This comes with Arteta and company. having struggled a lot out of the gates last month, en route to a home loss at the hands of Chelsea, and successive embarrassing defeats on the road at Brentford and Manchester City.

In turn, amid their team’s rare lead away from the Emirates, the faithful Gunners who attended Turf Moor on Saturday were sure to take advantage of the situation, courtesy of a totally self-deprecating chant:
