Raphael Varane calls Old Trafford ‘incredible’ after Newcastle win

Raphael Varane offers one-word reaction to Old Trafford vs Newcastle vibe

Manchester United defender Raphael Varane took to social media on Saturday night to express his reaction to the club’s overthrow of Newcastle United.

CR7 net tie

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men, of course, were back in action after today’s international break, in a Premier League match with the Magpies.

The clash was highly anticipated, as the talisman Cristiano Ronaldo received his second debut in the form of a starting position as the spearhead of the hosts’ attack.

And, after all, it was the Portuguese international who almost inevitably made the headlines.

A brace on either side of the interval put United on their way to an eventual 4-1 win, and both Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard had also hit the mark.

The Red Devils, in turn, are now at the top of the Premier League table, with a record ten points out of twelve available.

‘Amazing’

As such, it’s safe to say that the atmosphere at the Theater of Dreams on Saturday was one of utter jubilation.

With Ronaldo behind scoring goals, Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba in midfield, and Raphael Varane acting as a long-awaited world-class presence at the rear, the good times, as things stand, look good and truly on. Manchester United.

And, as described above, following the club’s latest 3-point shooting, the latter of these stars has moved again to make clear their happiness with their decision to trade Madrid for Manchester this summer.

On Twitter Saturday night, Raphael Varane posted a simple message, labeling the events at Old Trafford today as nothing less than ‘incredible’:
