Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey drops a return track before Norwich

Arsenal vs Norwich

To say that Arsenal’s 2021/22 Premier League campaign has gotten off to a nightmare start would be to put it lightly.

The Gunners, aside from a League Cup win over a very weak West Brom, have yet to get a win this season.

After a fairly active summer window, Arsenal fans were certainly hopeful that Mikel Arteta could get the club’s league season off to a solid start as they aim to improve on two straight finishes.

However, so far, the Spaniard has done the opposite. Arsenal would begin their campaign losing 2-0 to the newly promoted Brentford.

They were then completely dominated by both Chelsea and Manchester City, losing 2-0 and 5-0, leaving the capital giants last in the PL table heading into the international break.

After such a lousy start, it is imperative that Arsenal get something out of their next clash today.

The North Londoners will face Norwich City, one of three teams that have yet to earn a point this season, with Arsenal and Wolves the other two.

The match will take place today at 3pm UK time.

Part and hint at the return

Arsenal’s miserable start to the season also coincided with several key players missing at least a few games.

One of these players has been Thomas Partey, who was injured in the preseason vs Chelsea and has not yet appeared in this entire campaign.

However, in a big boost for Arsenal, it looks like Partey has now pretty much confirmed that he will be involved this weekend against Norwich.

Taking his Instagram story on Friday, the midfielder posted an image with the phrase ‘I’m back’ scattered everywhere:
