Gareth Bale has offered his opinion on Cristiano Ronald’s return to Manchester United this summer.

Bale and Ronaldo

Bale and Ronaldo, of course, spent several years playing together for the Spanish giants, Real Madrid.

Bale would join Los Blancos in 2013 and played with Ronaldo until the summer of 2018 when the Portuguese departed for Juventus.

During that period, Bale and Ronaldo helped Madrid win a La Liga title, a Copa del Rey, a Spanish Super Cup, a staggering four Champions League and three UEFA Super Cups.

Bale talks about Ronaldo’s return to the Premier League with Man United

Of course, Ronaldo joined Manchester United over the summer, returning to England for the first time since moving to Real Madrid in 2009.

Bale would also recently return to his former English side, albeit on loan, spending 2020/21 on loan at his previous club, Tottenham.

Now, while on international service with Wales, Bale has been drawn to Ronaldo’s return to the English top flight with the Red Devils.

And Bale would back his former teammate to get it right, while adding that he, like everyone else, is excited to see CR7 return:

“I’m sure it will go well for him. He has shown it before in the Premier League, from what he understands the league. He has done everything in football. His ability to score goals is unmatched by anyone else. “[I am] excited like everyone else. “
