Jesse Lingard explodes the remixed celebration of Ronaldo vs Andorra

Jesse Lingard dedicates England's first goal since 2018 to Cristiano Ronaldo

England and Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard made the headlines tonight, following a memorable goal celebration against Andorra.

Awesome england

Of course, the Three Lions are currently in action, in their last qualifier for the 2022 World Cup.

Gareth Southgate and company. They welcomed the Andorra minnows to Wembley for a Group I clash, undoubtedly brimming with confidence.

This comes with England having made a deep impression on the nation’s first outing since suffering the heartbreak of Euro 2020 at the hands of Italy earlier this week.

A tricky trip to the Puskas Arena in Hungary finally saw the visitors emerge down the right side from a 4-0 scoreline, courtesy of goals from Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Harry Maguire and Declan Rice.

This guided the Three Lions to a perfect 12 points out of 12, en route to a spot in next year’s Qatar masterpiece.

The Ronaldo de Lingard moment

And, as things stand in London, the flawless qualifying campaign enjoyed by Southgate’s men looks set to continue.

With 45 minutes played on Sunday night, the hosts currently lead Andorra by a goal to nil.

A highly upset XI, with players like Jude Bellingham, Conor Coady and even Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield, has Jesse Lingard’s first goal since 2018 to thank his lead.

After the ball fell gently to the Manchester United man in the visitors’ area, Lingard made no mistake with a left-footed shot from the bottom corner.

However, as described above, it is not the hit from the midfielder itself that has made the headlines.

Instead, this comes in the form of Lingard’s subsequent celebration.

To the delight of Red Devils fans around the world, the 28-year-old chose to show some love to his new teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, following the return of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to Old Trafford on Last weekend.

In turn, after seeing his effort in the 18th minute nested in the net, Lingard walked away towards the corner flag, before bursting Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siu’ celebration, with a personal touch:
