Antonio Conte ‘agrees’ to take on Arsenal’s challenge on one condition

Antonio Conte 'agrees' to take on Arsenal's challenge on one condition

The beginning of Arsenal’s nightmare

Arsenal’s 2021/22 Premier League campaign is off to an absolute nightmare start.

The Gunners would start their season against the newly promoted Brentford, who had never played a Premier League game before this season.

However, the Bees were able to take advantage of a poor defense from Arsenal, especially from Ben White and Pablo Mari, to win 2-0.

Arsenal followed this up by losing 2-0 to Chelsea in the league, although that match could have easily ended with Chelsea scoring four or five.

And this is exactly what Manchester City did in Arsenal’s last league tie before the international break, beating an Arsenal side that is experiencing its worst start to a top flight since 1954/55.

Count Arsenal?

Such a poor start to the campaign has already put Mikel Arteta’s future in the Emirates into question, with reports at the end of August, suggesting that the North London team is likely to make Antonio Conte their first choice to replace the Spaniard.

Now, a further update has come out about Conte potentially taking the Arsenal job through a Spanish medium, todofichajes.

They claim that Conte was contacted over a week ago and agreed to take on the challenge as long as he gets the job before October passes:

Antonio Conte was contacted just over a week ago, after Arsenal’s first two defeats, agreeing to take on the challenge until October passes, as he would have no room for improvement.
