Wolves are expected to replace Kieffer Moore again after Cardiff rejected the offer

Wolves are expected to replace Kieffer Moore again after Cardiff rejected the offer

Wolves need goals

The Wolves have been one of the most unfortunate teams in the Premier League so far this season.

With new boss Bruno Lage, the Wolves are playing flashy attacking football and creating their fair share of opportunities.

However, the Midlands-based team is struggling to find the back of the net. In fact, they have yet to score a single goal in the league this season, losing all three Premier League ties 1-0 in 2021/22.

This comes with Wolves already having a 4.87 xG this season.

By comparison, Manchester United currently have an xG of 3.6 in the league this season but have scored seven goals.

Wolves linked to Cardiff forward

To help solve their lack of goals, they have already brought in Hee-chan Hwang from RB Leipzig.

And now, it looks like Lage and company. they are looking to add another center forward to their ranks before the window closes later tonight.

That player, according to John Percy of the Telegraph, is Cardiff striker Kieffer Moore, who talks are said to be continuing:

David Ornstein would later confirm that Cardiff turned down the Wolves’ offer for Moore because they wanted a higher rate, but the Premier League team is expected to come back with another offer:

Moore has appeared 49 times with the championship team since he joined them. In these qualifying rounds he has scored 21 goals and provided four assists.

Moore also has 21 caps for Wales, for whom he has found the net six times.

5 players Manchester United should target to join Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes in midfield

Five coaches Arsenal could realistically sound out to replace Mikel Arteta
