West Ham United has announced another deadline to sign on Tuesday night.

The Hammers would confirm earlier in the day that they had secured the services of Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow:

This was followed by reports from Russia that West Ham was considering a move for Czech midfielder Alex Kral:

Spartak Moscow boss Evgeny Melezhikov would then state that Kral was leaving the club and that they had agreed to terms with West Ham:

And now, West Ham has officially confirmed the signing of the midfielder:

The deal, according to West Ham, sees the 23-year-old join the London squad on a one-season loan in order to make the move permanent.

After landing Kral, David Moyes had this for tell in the midfielder:

“I am delighted to welcome Alex to West Ham United,” said Moyes. “It will provide good competition in the center of the field. He is another young and talented player who we believe has great potential and will be able to adapt to the demands of the Premier League.

“We brought him on loan initially and hopefully over the course of the season he will make a valuable contribution, particularly with our busier schedule of matches.

“Alex is another established international player with the Czech Republic, and we hope that he has similar characteristics and hunger to Tomas and Vladimir.”

Will West Ham sign someone else?

Following news of Kral’s signing, ExWHUemployee, a trusted news source when it comes to West Ham, has stated that it is possible, though unlikely, that a young player, possibly costing less than £ 1 million, could sign for West Ham before the window closes:
