Arsenal deadline change

With less than 12 hours to go in the window, Arsenal have finally come to life to tackle their problems on the right back. As of yesterday, the club had four right-backs; Callum Chambers, Cedric Soares, Hector Bellerin, and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

However, Bellerin is already ready to leave the club in the next few hours, with an agreed deal to take the player to Real Betis. In terms of innings, the Gunners have agreed to sign Takehiro Tomiyasu, the 22-year-old fullback from Bologna.

Bellerin to Betis

The details emerged of the possible transfer of Bellerin to Real Betis of the trusted journalist David Ornstein.

According to Ornstein, the agreement will be a loan, with no option or obligation to purchase on the part of the Spanish side. However, Bellerin will accept a pay cut, as Willian did, in order to get away from the Gunners.

The lack of a potential sale at the end of the loan will be a frustration for Arsenal fans, but the loan offers Bellerin the opportunity to rediscover some form and reassert his value to bring Arsenal more money next season.

Tomiyasu will join Arsenal

Meanwhile, Arsenal will replace Bellerin with 22-year-old Bologna full-back Takehiro Tomiyasu. The deal, first discussed this morning, is believed to have now been completed, with emerging details that it could return the Gunners £ 16 million plus additional bonuses.

According to trusted transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the add-ons are believed to amount to 3 million euros (2.5 million pounds), leading to a possible settlement of 18.5 million pounds.

Will he show the answer to Arsenal’s right-back problems?
