Tottenham prepare to steal a march from Arsenal for Yves Bissouma

Yves Bissouma, a target for Arsenal and Liverpool

Brighton’s Yves Bissouma has been a target seemingly all summer for both of them Arsenal and Liverpool, and both parties are believed to be incredibly interested in signing the Malian international.

He hasn’t hurt his reputation in the opening games of the season, impressing the Seagulls in both victory and loss.

Given Arsenal’s poor start to the season, it is not surprising that ties to the midfield destroyer have not disappeared, although it seems unlikely that such a late move will come in the window.

Tottenham allegedly set out to steal a march for Bissouma

However, one club that has rarely been linked to the midfielder is Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal’s North London rival. However, according to Sunday Express [allegedly quoting the Sunday Mirror]Nuno Espirito Santo’s men “chase” an eleventh-hour play for the player.

This news would be a serious blow to Arsenal fans, who have become convinced that Bissouma has the answer to many of their problems in the opening games of the season.

If the midfielder ended up at Tottenham Hostpur by the deadline day and continued to impress this season, serious questions would be asked.
