Sancho and Bruno Fernandes react to Ronaldo's return to Man United

Manchester United couple Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes took to social media tonight to react to the news of Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to the club.

‘Welcome home’

The explosive news that shook European football to the core, of course, was released just a short time ago.

This came in the form of confirmation that Cristiano Ronaldo has chosen to seal a sensational move back to the Premier League, with former club Manchester United.

In fact, the Portuguese was expected to write terms with Red Devils city neighbors Manchester City after making clear his desire to leave the Serie A giants Juventus this week.

However, the attraction of the Theater of Dreams and the opportunity to wear the colors of his beloved United ultimately proved too much for Ronaldo to turn down.

In turn, on Friday night, Manchester United took to social media to confirm that their prodigal son had returned, ahead of an expected challenge for the Premier League title:

‘Agent Bruno’

And, as described above, after the announcement about CR7’s return there has been a lot of additional activity on Twitter, from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

The first was Jadon Sancho, who posted the following simple message before linking up with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner:

Bruno Fernandes, of course Ronaldo’s international teammate, quickly followed up with his own ‘welcome’ message:

And Jesse Lingard was sure he would join in on the fun too, and the English international exclaimed:

Manchester United’s need for midfield reinforcements becomes clear when McTominay undergoes surgery

Rafa Benítez makes Richarlison’s transfer claim by following links to PSG and provides Everton team news update before Brighton
