Harry Kane prepares to demand a new contract of 400,000 a week

After the U-transfer, Harry Kane set out to demand a 400,000-a-week bumper contract

Kane transfer reversal

Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane ended the biggest transfer saga of the summer yesterday by confirming that he would stay at Spurs this summer.

The England captain had set out to leave North London clear this summer, with Manchester City as the main stakeholder. However, no suitable offer was presented, and Citizen’s best offer reached € 150 million, well below Kane’s perceived valuation for the Spurs.

As a result, Kane will now stay at Spurs for the 2021-22 season.

Kane ready to demand a new contract

Now, according to The timesHarry Kane is ready to demand a new extraordinary contract with Tottenham. The forward is believed to be asking for £ 400,000 per week, which would represent a massive improvement on his current £ 230,000 per week deal.

It’s also crucial that Kane is eager to learn from his mistakes and insert a release clause into his contract, but there is no indication of how much that would be. For their part, the Spurs are thought to be set out to offer Kane a new contract, which would keep him at the club until 2027, when he is 34 years old.

Will Kane sign a new contract with the Spurs or will he go to new pastures next summer?
