Arsenal striker price revealed, with Crystal Palace set to jump

Eddie nketiah

Arsenal Deadwood Clearance

Arsenal have been intent on cleaning up the dead wood on their side since time immemorial, and so far their attempt this summer has been as unsuccessful as their previous efforts. The likes of Lucas Torreira, Sead Kolasinac and Willian still remain at the club, while Matteo Guendouzi and Dinos Mavropanos have left on loan contracts with purchase obligations.

After a disappointing start to the season, in which Mikel Arteta’s team failed to score a point or, more worryingly, score a goal, there has to be movement in the final week of the transfer window.

Rumors have emerged of possible trade deals for players like Hector Bellerin and Alexandre Lacazette, but there are plenty of other players who have to leave the club earlier than the first-team regulars.

Unfortunately for his fans, failing to make the final week of the window a good fit for the Gunner could make a potentially long season even longer.

Price set for Nketiah

That said, one of the ones Edu and Arteta are looking to move on is Eddie Nketiah, although a knee injury has kept him from moving forward so far.

And the price difference could keep him at the Emirates Stadium this summer, with Crystal Palace and an “unidentified” German club willing to pay £ 10m for England’s U-21 record scorer, according to the athletic.

However, Arsenal is believed to be demanding twice as much today, holding £ 20 million. However, with only 12 months left to execute his current contract, Arsenal have little power over Nketiah’s future if he does not accept the offers in the next week.

After all, 10 million pounds is better than losing the young man for free.
