Why is Héctor Bellerin missing for Arsenal vs Chelsea?

Arsenal vs Chelsea

Sunday’s final Premier League tie is currently played in North London.

Arsenal would welcome Chelsea to the Emirates as Mikel Arteta looks to continue his excellent record against the Blues.

Arteta has beaten Chelsea in his partner’s last three competitive meetings, including a 1-0 win over Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in May this year.

But with Romelu Lukaku since the beginning of Sunday, the Spaniard was undoubtedly very suspicious that this winning streak would come to an end.

Why Bellerin missed Arsenal vs Chelsea

Before the game, Arsenal have received a couple of personnel blows.

First, it was reported earlier on Sunday that Ben White would miss the tie due to being unwell:

Since then it has been confirmed that the defender has tested positive for Covid-19.

Elsewhere, Héctor Bellerin will also be missing on Sunday afternoon, and an explanation for the full-back’s absence has since been provided online.

And, according to journalist Mark Mann-Bryans, the Spaniard is out for a tight thigh:
