Lingard’s Suggestion for the Future

After being reduced to a supporting role at Manchester United, Jesse Lingard would join West Ham on loan for the second half of 2020/21.

Lingard has since returned to Old Trafford. But now that Jadon Sancho has also joined United, it appears Lingard has even more competition to deal with.

As a result, it is likely that some expected the 28-year-old to be shipped again this summer.

However, recent comments by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggest that this may not be the case, as the Norwegian stated that Lingard will play an ‘important role’:

“Don’t forget about Jesse Lingard. He has reinvented himself and returned to the man we know. With the quality that it has, it will play an important role. I forgot it when I talked about scorers ”.

Sarr linked to Man United

A recent report from England has named Manchester United as one of the clubs showing interest in Pape Sarr.

Sarr is currently practicing his trade in Ligue 1 with Metz, whom he joined in September 2020 after leaving his home country of Senegal.

Sarr is a defensive midfielder by trade, but he is also capable of playing a bit later.

Despite having had zero experience in European football prior to the 2020/21 season, and being only 18 years old, Sarr has already started playing fairly regularly for Metz.

In total, he has appeared 27 times for Metz, starting both of his Ligue 1 games this period.

And according to the Daily maiEveryone from Man United, Chelsea and Manchester City are following Sarr.

No potential transfer fees are mentioned in the report.

PSG willing to offer Pogba a big salary

Finally, PSG is reported to be willing to offer Paul Pogba a huge salary to join them next year.

Pogba’s current contract with Man United expires next summer and as a result, he can negotiate a pre-contract with foreign clubs starting in January.

And according to the IndependentPSG is willing to pay Pogba 600,000 euros a week (£ 510,000) from the start of next season to secure his signing by spending more money than potential rivals.
