Top 10 FPL Accounts to Watch for the 2021-22 Season

Fantasy Premier League – @OfficialFPL

The obvious place to start is with the official FPL account for the application. Official FPL provides live updates on goals, assists, red cards, fouls and penalty saves and important bonus points as well.

The account also posts videos with experts, has its own dedicated weekly podcast hosted by James Richardson, and a YouTube channel. For anyone who plays Fantasy Football, not following the count is a crime.

Fantasy Football Scout – @FFScout

A very popular account in the community with almost 200,000 followers, Fantasy Football Scout offers a host of free reviews on specific players and teams, in addition to the usual game overview. Along with sister accounts @FFS_Community, FFS is a must-have for all players revealing new player prices, differential picks, and has followed the preseason in depth to provide fans with more details on who could start next season.

They also provide a paid service where customers get access to Opta-powered stats comparisons to get ahead of their rivals, plus many more benefits. The account also has a dedicated website that publishes interesting articles about the game.

Ben Dinnery – @BenDinnery

Anyone who plays Fantasy Football knows how important it is to be aware of player injuries and that’s where Ben Dinnery comes in.

Ben is an ‘injury analyst’ and will provide regular updates on all potential player injuries throughout the season.

There is nothing worse than selecting a player who will miss a match due to a training injury. Also, some players can gain an advantage by knowing when some players are expected to return. With great players like Kevin De Bruyne often facing injuries, knowing when they will return can mean making the jump to the national team.

Ben will make sure you never have to worry about a disastrous surprise injury.

Andy – Let’s talk about FPL – @LetsTalk_FPL

One of the most successful fantasy YouTube channels on the scene. Let’s Talk FPL has more than 174,000 subscribers and more than 100,000 followers on Twitter.

Before the new season, Andy has been providing compilations of options for his team.

The best cheap midfielders, premium defenders and gameweek opening plans.

With so many subscribers and hearing Andy’s thoughts, it’s almost like taking a risk on your own without knowing his suggestions, so be sure to follow @LetsTalk_FPL so you’re not left behind.

Lee – FPL Family – @FPLFamily

Lee is a YouTube content producer who provides a lot of information with his co-host Sam.

His videos range from deep dives into specific clubs to providing tips and tricks for all types of players. From casual gamers to competitive gamers, Lee has you covered.

In the offseason, both Lee and Sam have been doing some deep dives at each club. It provides information on who might be good picks for the upcoming season and also shows some warning signs for those you should avoid.

Ben Crellin – @BenCrellin

If you want a full breakdown of what’s to come and are a fan of planning ahead, look no further than Ben Crellin. Ben creates brilliant spreadsheets that he updates regularly to show where blank and double / triple Gameweeks can occur.

On Twitter, Ben often provides potential scenario updates which, when living in a soccer world affected by a pandemic, is a must. Possible deferrals, rescheduling, and more are critical in planning future team selections and transfers.

Fantasy Football Hub – @FFH_HQ

As if there weren’t enough centers for Fantasy Football information anymore… let me try again. You can never get enough information centers for Fantasy Football. The Fantasy Football Hub is another feast for the FF brain.

However, the FFH is different. The FFH ties in with several high-profile characters on the field, such as the aforementioned Ben Crellin and others such as competitive gamer Chris Tan @ChrisTanFPL.

With these heavyweights, FFH gives fans the best perspective on the game, giving players an advantage over their rivals.

Honorable mentions

AbuBakar Siddiq – @BigManBakar

A fourth-ranked in 2014/15 and part of the aforementioned FFH, AbuBakar is big on statistics and if you are too, look no further.

FPL General – @FPLGenral

A 3x top 500 finalist, it’s always good to seek advice from those who have consistently made it to the top. And now it’s part of The Athletic’s FPL podcast series.

Tom – @WGTA_FP

Providing a FF podcast and consistent advice for all players through his Twitter account.
